2026 ELECTIONS INFORMATION

NOMINATIONS: STATE CONVENTION DELEGATES


Education Minnesota Representative Convention (EdMN RC)
April 24-25, 2026, Doubletree Hilton, Bloomington, MN

 

The Education Minnesota Representative Convention will be held April 24-25 at the Doubletree Hilton in Bloomington, MN.  This is the highest governing body of our state union, with hundreds of elected delegates meeting annually to set policy for the union. Attending this conference gives MFE a voice in what policies EdMN sets for the coming year.  We are among the largest delegations to this convention and can have a significant influence in the direction of our state union.  Please fill out the nomination forms below by February 25th if you are interested!

July 3-7, 2026, Denver, CO

American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Convention
July 16-19, 2026, Washington, DC

The National Education Association (NEA) Representative Assembly will be held July 3-7 in Denver, CO, and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Convention will be held July 16-19 in Washington, DC.  These are the largest governing bodies of our national unions, with thousands of elected delegates from across the country coming together to set policy and priorities of our national unions.  This is an amazing way to bring our perspectives to the national stage and to collaborate with other educators from across the country to help determine the direction of our profession.  Please fill out the nomination forms below by March 25th if you are interested in attending either of these important conventions.
