Q: When will the MPS School Board ratify our contracts?
A: The MPS School Board will meet on Tuesday, December 9th and is expected to ratify our contracts at that meeting.

Q: When will retro pay be paid out and new pay rates applied for B-22 licensed staff and Adult Ed hourly teachers?
A: The B-22 licensed staff contract and the Adult Ed teacher contract (for hourly teachers) included wage increases for this year that date back to July 1, 2025. Generally, the district is expected to make retro payments and apply new pay rates within 60 days of MPS School Board ratification (which is expected to occur on December 9th). HR has communicated that it will send more information after School Board ratification occurs.
Q: For ESPs, when will the year 1 lump sum get paid out?
A: All ESPs in a paid and active status as of December 1, 2025 are eligible for the lump sum. MPS has communicated that it expects those payments to be made by January 2026.
